I have not posted for soooooo lllllloooooonnnnnngggggg. I went to a sale at a yarn shop on friday and got 2 skeins of jitterbug one in florentina and one in alizerine. I got 2 skeins of Claudia hand painted fingering in teal party. I am making the anastasia socks in the alizerine. I want to make a shawl out of the florentina and another pair of socks out of the teal party. I got some laceweight silk yarn from etsy in semisolid purples, I might make the shetland triangle shawl. I still haven't finished a pair of socks out of my old jitterbug in jay. I have ripped out so many things with that yarn. I started making the rick socks from sock innovation. I made the vine yoke cardigan in Malabrigo worsted in verdes. It is gorgeous! I still have not cast off because I am not sure about the button band. I have made 2 triangle scarf one for my grandmother in malabrigo silky merino in turquoise. I am made one for me in mal silky in caribeno. I love that yarn it is soft and shiny and comes in great colors.

I finished my clapotis about 2 weeks ago. Yay! It is gorgeous! After I finished my clapotis a started knitting my jitterbug socks, I gave up on the pattern because it was two small. I started another one the anastasia socks, they were to big. Now I am hoping to get a sock book to find some socks that fit.

I was knitting the seaside cottage alpaca-silk stole, there was a mistake in the pattern so I gave up on it. I checked the website www.storey.com for corrections. Now I might try to make it again, but in a while.

I am still working on my clapotis. I am on the decrease rows. It is very boring knitting it, but it looks gorgeous. Next I am making a felted bag. I started my jitterbug socks, they are taking forever. Then I have to knit a pair of socks for my brother and my sister. Then something for xmas for my mom and a hat for my dad, who has a giant head. Then I will make a hat for me.

P.S I will have extra yarn from my clapotis I am making a beret.

new yarn

I went to my lys sale and got some great yarn. I got 5 balls of Chiara to make a clapotis. I got 1 skein of jitterbug for some socks. I am now halfway done with my clapotis. I finished my first pair of socks recently I used cascades' fixation. I used Two at a Time Socks and I used the Berry season pattern. I love them, they are so comfortable! I now have to finish my clapotis and find a pattern for my socks and finish them.
